Did you know you can start your engine directly from Accessories without a double tap?

When the vehicle is in "Accessories" mode you can start the engine without the need to double tap the Start button. It must be an automatic transmission though. When in Accessories mode push the transmission select lever across to the left at the same time as pushing the brake pedal, the LED on the Start button will change from Orange to Green and the engine can be started with a single tap. I would be interested to know if there is a similar shortcut for manual transmissions...
