Red door light

Hi guys,
I am a newbie here. I got a prado 2019 Kakadu. Just noticed that there are red door lights but these won't illuminate at all. I can't seem to find it in the owners manual.
I know that the pre facelift models had courtesy door lights. But did toyota delete it in the facelift models?

There are only dummies in mine to. At AliExpress are lights plus wiring in offer. But I haven't looked yet, if there is maybe the wiring somewhere in the doors.

Your 2019 Kakadu will have "white" courtesy interior lights, they may be dimmed down as the brightness level is driver adjustable.

I have a 2021 Prado VX and am in the same boat. Wiring for the door lights is missing and the red pieces of plastic in door are just reflectors with no light in them. Has anyone used the wiring kit available in the link posted above to wire the lights? If yes, can you please post the guide on how to do it?
