2015 VX compass

Hi All,

we have purchased a 2015 VX 1GD and I have noticed that the compass in the drivers information panel only works for approx 30 seconds after starting the vehicle then stops picking up your direction of travel for the rest of the journey.

anyone else had similar or can shed some light on the subject?

The drivers info panel is only relaying information from your navigation system associated with the main screen so if it stops updating 30sec after start up then its potentially a Nav setting or standard response until you commence route navigation ( If it was an actual fault I think you would see other symptoms with route navigation on the main display or communication with the drivers info panel).

Thank you, makes sense I think because there was no map card in the navigation screen when we purchased it so it could be why.
