  • BMV-712 adition to 1225d

    Hi ..

Installing bcdc1225d, and BMV-712 today. The isolator is already installed, and is my current charging solution

I have a picture attached everything on the pic is pretty strait forward. Id just like to confirm the position if the shunt (drawing added) if possible.

    Thoughts?

You need to remove the negative from the battery to body and put it on the load side of the shunt, you should only have one cable from the battery negative terminal to the shunt terminal. The SBI 12 is not required with the DC-2-DC charger, and I would not use that isolator for a jump start solenoid.

Yes , that way the shunt will read everything going in and out of the aux battery now .
