Middle Row 12V Outlet

Hi All,

I am wondering if there is an easy way to make the 12V plug in the middle row 'live' ie always on. I place my fridge in the middle row as the dogs stay behind the cargo barrier in the back. I also have a dual battery in the front which I have not yet wired anything off, but am after a quick easy way to permanently have the 12v in the middle row live.

Quickest an easiest way would be to run a completely new fused supply to the middle row socket driect from either your main or aux battery. Alternatively, ou may be able to tap into a permanently live supply at the factory internal fuse box, just remeber to add inline fuse protection appropriate for the cable size and the socket outlet - issue here is that it will drain your cranking battery.

If you have an aux battery, a new supply would be the best option. Keep in mind that the existing factory wiring may be undersized if your planning a heavier draw load, so up the cable size used for the entire run!
