I changed my mind and removed my post. Curious why? Look there: http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...upgrade-in-GXL

I'm wondering where I'll put EGT gauge in the 120. No handy suitably sized blanks to use.
Under dash in front of drivers left knee (a la MLC) already taken up by brake controller.
I though maybe pull out ashtray, but the result will be gappy.
Other places considered would be on side of centre console, maybe hide it away in the top "shelf" in the glove box or right away up under the dash??
        Anybody used anywhere else? Pics?
        Cheers

I don't have an answer other than I am fitting my electric brake controller where the ashtray is. Maybe your answer is a swap?

Also I just checked... it was not taken down ... but moved.

Here it is for those that wish to try:

Super but at the time of the other poster writing, we didn't. BTW, was it already cut down to suit was did it need modifying? We had the Triton plate that needed modifying

I fitted mine in boxes attached by double-sided tape. The leads come through the ash-tray hole. I have 2 Auber units- the LHS one shows CHT and the RHS one shows EGT.

This is my install for the 120..

I knocked up a blanking plate to fit it flush to the dash.

For some reason I haven't taken a pick of the installed EGT.. I better pull my finger out

                    What is CHT?

The warranty we provide for these means that people are buying peace of mind. but no problems Rob. We do live in a democracy.

The Chip is very much the talk of the town BECAUSE we do have very keen prices for the features people are getting. Not to sound too glib about it ... really not trying to, but in fact, we eat the opposition for price and featuresand don't get them at the turn with a crappy warranty either ... a full five years on electronics.
