    • I find the current conversation to be of no value to PP readers. I maybe wrong but the current debate is off topic or at a level that is beyond the general readers understanding. For my mind the question would be better asked either over the phone or through a personal email. That way there would be no IP problems and information could be passed freely.

I normally enjoy both members posted but this one could end with PP as the loser should one or both cop a band. I for one don't want it to come to that. For the good of PP boys lets move on.

        • Well the "UK version" was on for 2 days and guess what ..... dreaded limp home mode says hello twice to the wife
Then an angry phone call comes my way, GET RID OF THIS CHIP!
Now trying to get a refund on it.

That would be appreciated old mate. I see you are in the ville as well. Might organize a race after you get it fitted to see if was worth the bills.

                          • Might feel a bit like a yoyo but aleast you will make an informed decision from others who have the spent money
and not have to find out the hard way as many have done.

                            • Had the ChipIt installed at local 4WD shop in town since I had it shipped over and did not want to run any risk with my mechanic skills. They put it in (first ChipIt ever, they sell Steinbauer) and we used the trick with embedding it high in the engine bay within a JayCar water resistant box. Now 2 days straight playing with it on mild to moderate setting. No more sudden lurch after wait for exceleration, less fuel use on factory indicator since I am not hitting it as much for more power, no hiccups. May be the new download but works a treat!
