Hey I know. Here's an idea that builds on the trick of badging anything and selling it under a brand name "style"...

Maybe the ChipWhit fellow might think about importing some Great Wall 4*4 vehicles, and put his badge on it, and sell it as a "Prado Style 4*4"...oh, the options are endless...we are the dills. We should've been importing anything we can get our hands on from overseas, and badging it up, and selling it on a bit cheaper than the original product... what s that song....Gangnam Style...

Or is it ..."ChipIt, Chipt it good"...(sung to the tune of Devos song)

If it doesn't do what I said it would then under Australian Law you can return it. However they work as advertised... no question about it.

Oh really? Friends of mine spoke with you about trying to return a dodgy chip. They were not impressed with your attitude and gave up. Reading some of your posts on this forum, I'm not surprised..

100% you or they were not talking to me. Chip returns are handled by Chip It Perth. Chip It Perth sacked 2 people recently for poor service. The Director or Chip It, Justin is also know for his abrupt nature. I am not.

I never treat customers rudely. No matter what.

That funny cause every time I have talked to him he has been awesome.
Just remember everyone has a bad day every now and then.

I have one of his catch cans and pleased to say it works fine. If you have a problem with it because you can only buy the filters through Robert, your clutching at straws.

Some peoples opinions on this forum get taken to often as gospel. All I can say is research and form your own opinion.

I have one of these knockoffs installed on my car and i have to say so fer it works fine but when cleaning it out the other day i did notice a fair amount oil residue inside the return line for about 20mm(after the filter). i thought to myself that it must just be normal but now wonder about the quality of the material filter??????
That aside i hate being suckered and am not very happy about what's happend here with these non genuine filters.

From a person that used to recommend your business on these catch cans, I think you are being pretty rude right here in this quote, Robert.
I want to go a bit further here Robert. All my customer base that I have fitted these units to their vehicles, if they want the real Mann Provent (Provent being a registered trademark) and I have to refit these units because they thought they were getting the Mann one, I am going to keep a log and you will be receiving an invoice for the work.
It's my time which is money and I was recommending these units because I thought it was the Provent 200. I feel mislead, and I am not going to pay for anything further, other than that feeling.
I hope you understand where I am coming from here.
I think you should PM me so we can come to an understanding on this, so it doesn't continue on the forum or QCAT.

Anyway, I think we all get the picture regarding this company (starting issues with chip, fault codes, false advertising, poor customer service etc). Robert even says one of the CHIP IT Directors gives poor customer service. Probably time said Director was sent a link to this thread... hmmm

I don't think the chip has anything to do with this. I haven't had any faults or codes with mine and I haven't had any problems in any of my dealings with Robert.
