EGR blanking plate to block off or restrict?

I purchased 2 cans of very expensive intake cleaner, sprayed through the intercooler and also direct to the mess. It just doesn't make any difference whatsoever. Don't waste your money. This isn't a grimey petrol motor it is like tar you could make roads out of.

May be effective as a preventative who knows..?! But not a treatment.

Hi People's. My First Post. Sold 2006 Tundra V8 and now have 150 Prado. Have a DHP chip, 7mm EGR blank and no muffler. Dyno'd on Sunshine Coast at mates workshop over Easter. 168.2KW - 496Nm Torque. Feels like my old Tundra. Thank you guys for your advice to get me here. Ready for touring now without other half winging its too big!!!!

Anyone had any luck with a blanking plate for the 1GD-FTV? Apparently its a different beast and requires a much larger hole and is designed differently to the 1KD engine.

A bloke on another forum says these guys have good stuff, "oil is so clean it is hard to see the oil on the dipstick"

No however when ever I see something like this, with a solution for many diesel issues, alarm bells start ringing for me. I'd love to be proved wrong however I'm always sceptical about these elixirs.

Yes finally got it undercontroll i got my plate from Tin and have had to drill out to 1/2inch (12.7mm)for it not to bring up codes.
Have done a heap of driving over easter and has not got code up once

Sorry for delay.
OD is 32mm roughly did it in dark with digital vernier but battery flat😠.
It is thin wall pipe as well and is a peice of piss to put plate in. The hardest part is getting the nuts cracked from factory.

It will help, but not sure how much.
I need to plug in & analyse what egr is doing on these.
With dpf the egr could be set to open less.
You see one of the many problems with dpf, Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system causing incomplete combustion will increase soot loading on dpf.
So I hope they would reduce egr operation.
Need a guineaPIG.

Well its been a good 2 weeks now with ristriction plate in and have not had a code up at all and feels the same to drive
