Injector service Perth area

Has anyone used Allied Diesel & Turbo in Wangara W.A.
I am looking for someone close to home to do my injectors.
Their workshop looks the part with spotless work areas and the guys sound like they know their stuff.
The one who I trusted to do my work has retired and now with the 150 I want to be sure where I go.

Hi Guys,

after some info as starting to plan for injectors to be replaced , I have the techstream cable in transit and hopefully will arrive this weekend to see what the values are running.

but would be good to see how has replaced there injectors in perth or who is looking at replacing in the future.

what price did you pay for injectors and were purchased.
who done the change.
would anyone be interested in a group buy.
would anyone be interested in getting Anthony across to perth to install? would have to get a few of us to make it worth while?

I'm sitting on 140k, and whilst the injector values seems appear ok on Techstream, all these 150's going bang makes me nervous and I am thinking of changing them out by 150 regardless.

Bad timing really as the car is only on lease for another 11 months....

Perth injectors

Some time ago i was asked if i would consider travelling to do a set of injectors etc.
I did say eventually...... One day.........
It's not like I have the time, but anyway....... It's happening now!
Anybody interested or even in s.a, feel free to contact me, but you will need to be quick!

Can do all but not tranny fluid, I don't work on the floor well set up for it in the workshop however
You should just come past on the way to gtg & we sort it all out.

has any perth guys got a EGR blanking plate as getting injectors done and wont be able to get one shipped in time as looking at Thursday for the injector change!!

Hi Prado pointers, thanks for the great forum....however I'm starting to get a bit nervous about our cheap and cheerful purchase from Pickles auctions a couple of weeks ago...
We have replaced our 100 series cruiser with a 2011 GX Prado (80,000km) and would like to take it to a diesel specialist in Perth to check out the engine (and suss out those pesky injectors!).
Does anyone have any feedback on the original posters query regarding Allied Diesel & Turbo in Wangara ?
or any other suggestions on where in Perth (North) we could take it?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi,
Just an update.
I took the opportunity to have injectors , fuel lines replaced and also the EGR plate installed while Anthony was in Perth.
Well worth the effort and the piece of mind.
Have just completed a 2500km trip from perth to sharbay with no issues with the car and plan to do all filters and oils shortly.

Tom,
Suggest to get the injector values read.
Contact Anthony if you are unsure of the values.

My mechanic used Allied recently to test and now replace my injectors and rebuilt my fuel pump. Seemed very honest and reliable.

If you have the time and some mechanical aptitude give it a go yourself, the only thing would be the setups with the diagnostic tool.
There is plenty info available and I will be adding items like cleaning MAF into my cars service intervals.
I read a lot about the EGR plate and decided I would slip one in while I had the access and will check how clean the intake is in 10000kms or so.
Also on a general note , I plan to do more service items on the car....it's not that hard!
