Today got the 3in from dpf back got it in all stainless steel high flow mufler. Haven't had a big test drive but from shop to home it felt a bit more responsive and seamed to boost up to full boost a lot quicker. Scan gauge showed no boost spikes while driving (as yet)
Noise wise can't tell the difference in the car, has nice note.

Used a Tiapan 3" on my old Prado with 1KD-TE and cracked in 2 places. Was the result of poor mounting brackets to the gearbox. Was replaced under warranty but i added the gearbox bracket just before the flex joint.
The drone was terrible. Maybe the D4D motor would be quieter.
