High idle whistle after EGR plate installed

G'day all,
Wondering if anyone can enlighten me if they have experienced similar. After installing a 7mm drilled EGR plate there seems to be a whistle noise coming from the engine when it is at high idle (900-ish rpm).
Sounds like a quieter version of that exhaust flange noise that has had a lot of talk time previously.
Tried my usual fix for the noise but it doesn't seem to be coming from that area. Maybe they are related, maybe not?

I hear a high pitched whistling from mine after I had it fitted 10,000 Km's ago,couldn't say if there was a problem somewhere as the vehicle doesn't feel any different and I've gotten used to the whistling.
