Weird noise when turning off ignition

I have recently bought a 2012 GX diesel and noticed when I turn off the ignition there is a strange noise kind of like something is winding down for 2-3 seconds once the engine has stopped.

I was wondering if anyone else has heard of this before. Hoping its not the turbo.

I reckon Ive heard mine do it, sounds normal.

Took it back to the stealership and turns out it was the alternator
