Hi guys,
Recently I did a service, and I found out the engine oil has been slightly over-filled. When the vehicle warmed up, and waited for 5 minutes. The oil still 0.5mm over the max spot on the dipstick. (If cold, it will be 5mm over, but according to the user manual, I need to measure it when the engine is totally warm) I know this is not a problem at all, but just for fun, I took my oil extractor and tried to pump or suck some oil from the dipstick tube which normally working on my old Camry. It didn't work at all. And I am thinking about there might be a one-way valve in the tube now.
Is there anyone who try to extract some oil successfully from the dipstick tube on 1gd engine? Just for a study of this engine.
Have a great day guys!
Cheers,
Joe
