  • Injectors replaced on 2012 GXL - FYI

    HI All,

Just had my injectors replaced by the big T at 100,000km and had the valve clearances checked at the same time. Cost - $2980. Got quotes from others including Berrima Diesel and they were surprisingly all more expensive than Toyota.

Hi Rimsy, good price, did you get a report and was anything else like common rail or fuel line cleaned/replaced and did that include new fuel filter. My 2012 gxl has only done 80K at the moment, without any complaint. Just had the original tyres replaced at 70K. But in the back of mind that $3K bill.

Which dealer was that? Also, did they replace the fuel pipes?

I asked them not to replace the fuel lines. Did not include fuel filter as I had replaced the filter only a few days before getting the injectors done. Their original quote did include new lines and a fuel filter. $550 for new lines and about $100 for a new fuel filter.
