  • Service Kit for 150

    Hello team,

Came across this servicing kit for 120,150 engine. Has anyone got any experience with it, FLEETGUARD FILTER KIT - MK13457 (AIR, FUEL & OIL) - TOYOTA LANDCRUISER PRADO KDJ120R/KDJ150R/KDJ155R.

Cummins is a known brand and I am not sure if Fleetguard is one of its own brand or subsidiary.

    TIA.
D4D. How long will it last?

Cant help as regards being suitable for Toyota but can confirm that Fleetguard filters are used by Cummins. I have always assumed Fleetguard was a subsidiary of Cummins, I have a Cummins 8.3 litre marine engine and have always bought filters from a Cummins dealer and they have always supplied Fleetguard. I would imagine that because of this they are good quality and worth using if they are reasonably priced.

Ryco also do service kits for GDJ150 part# RSK40C & for KDJ150 part# RSK16C. They contain, oil, air, cabin & main fuel filters.

I picked up the RSK40C kit for ~ $80 on ebay and used a Sakura FS-11830 for 2ndy/transfer fuel filter (~$20). They all looked reasonable quality & fitted the car properly.

Sakura also had a complete kit #K-11410 (1GD) with air, oil, cabin, main & 2ndy fuel filters which was $65.

There's others as well like Donaldson & Westfil - check out Western Filters website.

      Too many choices !

I've always used Ryco Syntec Oil filter, Ryco for the fuel and wesfil for the air (that gets changed enough)

Hadn't really thought of Fleetguard for the filters probably becuase their more known for being in the Heavy Duty side of things but sold pleanty of the brand to customers.
