It is accessed from underneath. You will need to remove your bashplates to do this. Here are some instructions that I took from the following site and tailored it for the 150 (http://www.ehow.com/how_6182338_chan...il-filter.html). I don't have a 150 V6 but I do have a Tarago V6. The oil filter tool that I use fits pretty much all modern Toyota V6 engines.

    1. Purchase a replacement oil filter from your Toyota dealer. Be aware that the filter should come with two new O-rings and a plastic hose adapter to aid in draining oil from the filter housing.
    2. Drive the Prado onto a set of car ramps or use a jack in combination with axle stands. Place the car in park, set the parking brake and chock the rear wheels.
    3. Place a drain pan under the sump and remove the sump plug and let the oil drain from the sump.
    4. Remove the oil filter housing lid with a 3/8-inch socket wrench in a counterclockwise direction and set it aside. If the small O-ring came off with the lid, replace it back onto the filter housing.
    5. Push a 1m length of a garden hose onto the long end of the plastic hose adapter that came with your new oil filter. Place the other end of the hose into the drain pan. Push the plastic hose adapter onto the fitting exposed after the filter housing lid was removed. Make sure the fitting snaps into place. Allow the oil in the filter housing to drain completely. Remove the adapter by twisting it out of the filter housing fitting. The O-ring should come off with the hose adaptor - discard the O-ring.
    6. Remove the filter housing with a filter wrench attached to a 3/8-inch socket wrench. Turn in a counterclockwise direction.Click image for larger version

    8. Remove the large O-ring around the filter housing taking care not to use any sharp tools to damage the surface of the filter housing. Clean the filter housing with a rag and insert the new O-ring that came with the new filter.
    9. Insert the filter element in place.
    10. Insert the filter housing back into the cavity and tighten it with a filter wrench in a clockwise direction. Torque to 25Nm.
    11. Insert the new small O-ring and replace the filter housing lid by tightening it into place with a 3/8-inch socket wrench turned in a clockwise direction. Torque to 12.5Nm.
    12. Replace the sump plug.
    13. Remove the oil filler cap and add the appropriate amount of oil using the type of oil recommended in your owner's manual. Check the engine oil dipstick to ensure that the levels are correct.
    14. Reverse the car off of the ramps or lower it from the axle stands.
