Glad they came to the party, but man I would love to know what happened with your car as I can't shake the feeling there's something going on under the surface.

Not "fair" for us to compare 0-100 times directly, but I'm not surprised to find over 1s difference either given what you said and what the tune can "reasonably" be expected to achieve.

Agree - also 285/70 tyres will be playing a big part in my 0-100 time :-)

Reckon if I did a few more 0-100 runs and selected gears rather than leave in auto I could gain a second for sure hahaha

Here are some times for you to compare, unfortunately I have no Stock figures as I did not have my torque pro/head unit connected when I got my car, so no 265/65/17 runs with essentially stock everything.

Start point is 265/70/17 tyres and 40mm lift.

Date 0-100kmh 0-60mph Mods

Mines a 2006 120 Grande V6 auto with sovereign bar, URD MAF tuner which I tune via laptop, I am lucky to have a road that is about 1 km long near me that is flat, tree lined and has only 2 houses on it these times are the best of either way in the dry as do not want to piss off people on road.

I would assume they don't work on the Dual VVTi 1GRs?

From what I can see the 120s all appear to end up a bit faster - weight difference?

I look at the USA gear (performance and suspension etc) a lot and this is getting gear towards my Supercharger project or may keep mine NA still on fence as after driven V8 Patrol which then can be supercharged......
Honestly when fitted did not really feel a difference but had to richen up my map a little, wife reckoned she felt difference but she drives like a race car driver, maybe in the mid range it seems better but really made for supercharging only tiny bit for NA.
URD stuff is great and Gadget gives lots of help even though I was across the ocean, tech is as old as VVTi which I believe either they still use or just finished using for their 4Runner/Taco.

Dual VVTis 1Gr need the tune from what I have read as are very conservatively tuned.

150s are heavier than 120s and acceleration suffers but they get better mileage due to lower drag and refinements to running gear, hard to beat a 120 V6 IMHO. (Unless you have a tuned FJ).

Yeah I had a read, no good to me.

Might do a mild exhaust upgrade, but really the car is "fine" as it is, I should just put that time and money in to the race car and go proper fast.
