Hey Fido PM sent hope it worked and is what your after if not sing out, just bare in mind its from a diesel logbook? Think it should apply to the petrol as there are bracketed sections stating '(for diesel models)' or see below.

There is a statement in the service logbook that I am unsure exactly what it means and what it entails.
I wonder if someone, who knows exactly how to do this, might be able to explain it for me please.....

"Clean air flow meter" in regards to a 150 diesel Prado.

have a look at the air cleaner box, there will be some wiring going into the top of it. Remove the 2 screws and pull the probe out, it's about 2 inches long and can be cleaned by spraying with MAF cleaner.

Thanks Scud, all good. About the only item I couldn't see listed on my invoice was "Clean Air Flow Meter". There is an "Element Air Refiner" item in the parts list on the invoice but I'm assuming that's for the airco as it also says they replaced the a/c fresh air filter. Is the Air Flow Meter cleaning something I should raise with them?
