Hypo I was referring to the comment from BJ re a ford territory, it is hardly in the same league as a Prado.
As for delimna it probably really comes down to KDSS and 18 inch wheels, do u want to pay for them as the other differences would be minimal.

Rob I don't agree with the minimal differences comment sorry, as a happy VX owner the $3000 difference to KDSS alone is worth it IMO. However you are also forgetting

- 18" wheels with AT22 Tyres, much better than the AT20
- Electric fold third row seats
Front parking sensors
- Rain sensing intermittent wipers
- HID Adaptive Front headlamp System (AFS
- Electric Tilt & Telescopic steering column
- Electro Chromatic interior mirror, great for those little wanks behind you in their fast four with a crap HID upgrade.
- Illuminated entry system

I know these are just little creature comfort upgrades (and more things to go wrong) but during my wife's pregnancy the steering wheel folding away was the biggest lifesaver for her. If it is $3000 grand more to go to a VX I know what i would be doing but in saying that also spent $11000 grand more to go to a VX as we both saw added values. We would have also bought a Kakadu however the suspension scared us away, looks as though people have overcome that now.

sapradogxl I visited another dealer on the weekend and asked if they had any idea on the pending pricing, advised wholesale was still not available. He spoke with his manager who quoted me $70-71K for Altitude D/Away and $65K for GXL D/Away.

Understand the wheelers and dealers etc may do better but this was a walk in and ask price they gave me on the day.

That sounds quite expensive. Best price i have had so far is 61500 for a td auto gxl. Just waiting on the wholesale price before biting the bullet. I will post up the price i get for the altitude once i have it.

When shopping for a Prado in Perth last year I found that all these prices are a bit meaningless unless you know which state you are comparing due to differences in stamp duty, and also whether some form of fleet discount is being applied.
