Hi Dave, my 150 was ordered last week in August exactly 5 months till delivery date did the dealer give you a Toyota tracking number in the mail i tracked mine every day and nothing really happened until it went into production the tracking was more accurate than the dealer who was 1 week late keep the preasure up.
I am still amassed at the build quality and features.

No, there was no tracking number. I've heard that fleet sales can't be tracked, but that doesn't make much sense to me, a car in production is a car in production, shouldn't matter where it's headed. Mine apparently landed in the country last week and is somewhere in transit, along with 4 others they are waiting on. It'll get here eventually I guess.

No, there was no tracking number

The fleet issue is only a excuse you would expect in this modern world they would be able to give you more info, it will still probably be a week or too.

Finally sorted my new 150 out. Got a call from the dealer yesterday telling me the end of April delivery after my December order.

After a few phone calls to the dealer principal, I secured a 2012 Prado GXL turbo diesel manual silver colour. The dealer gets it next week and then its visiting ARB before I get it.

Pretty happy now....

i ordered my prado kakadu back in mid october, delivery supposed to be by mid march but holding my breath on that one. spoke to dealer about a tracking number, i was given a code. went to toyota website to track it and asks for password also. Rang dealer again and he had no idea what i was going on about and stated i should call Toyota HQ. How have others gone about this as i would like to track my ordrr?

My Dealer gave me my tracking number and password at the same time in January. I also have had my car on order since October.

The tracking system says my car is January Production, and my delivery is supposed to be the end of February. I find the February delivery a bit hard o believe as the shipping time from Japan is at least 3 weeks, and then there is customs, delivery from wharf, and pre delivery from dealer. The Toyota tracking has not advised of a VIN number yet.

I would contact your dealer, they will be able to supply you with the password along with the tracking number. Both the tracking number and the password are 7 digit codes.

Not sure what to do now as he was adamant he had no password to give. i already called asking for the password and was given this response. If i call again i am sure i will get the same response. Do you think i would have any luck talking to Toyota directly, not the dealer?

Well after a nearly 6 mth wait my beautiful white D4D white GXL is here!!!!!!!!! AFTER MANY FALSE STARTS
the only upgrades I have found is privacy glass to rear windows, now to spend more money on accessories!

Yeah Dejo, I would give Toyota HQ a call and just explain the situation.
Hopefully they will be able to help you out.
