Ive ordered a 150 gxl diesel in August and It is still not here getting the run around ,might be here late december fingers crossed,at least I think there has been a minor upgrade?

Neil mate,I feel your pain. I too ordered 150 GXL Diesel in August up here in Cairns. About a week after signing the deal the phone calls started, delayed a month, delayed another month, then "it might get here in Feb!". As soon as I put down the phone it did a google search to find a car in stock. I had missed out but luckily I found a dealer that had a stock order in place that was to show up "any day now". That was late October, I just drove home in my new car today. I did have to fly to Brisbane and pick it up from the Toyota dealer in Nambour, but certainly bets Feb! I could have had it straight away, only got back from sea last Sunday (Navy). Probably doesn't help you much, but it's a very common theme at the moment.

Hi Neil, i too have ordered my 150 GXL Diesel, i was told November then December but i think realistickly it will be Mid January, this has been the most frustrating time but will only enjoy it more when it comes.

Hi Folks

It's unreal isn't it the world is in deep trouble and here we are trying to spend our hard earned paying top dollar and they just want to muck us around. Lucky for Toyota the 150 is best in class.

Your resale will improve if plated 2012. Mine will be around 4 months unless there are further delays.

Ordered late October delivery End December, fingers crossed the date actually came forward which was a surprise.

If your ok with Petrol there is an auto and a manual GXL at Toyota Moorooka (not sure if they are for someone but are sitting in their sales yard). They also have a Blue VX Auto Diesel Demo there>

Ordered silver GXL diesal on 06/09/2011 first delivery date 28/11/2011 then advised 27/12/2011 contacted yesterday new delivery date 29/02/2012 not sure if I will ever get it at the moment
Just been advised today that the delivery date is now 30/03/2012 rang dealer who confirmed that car was in built 23/01/2012 and now in transit due in fremantle 12/03/2012 so i might actually get the car at last !!!!

At this rate, we might just cancel the order and get the rumoured Altitude model when it is released for sale.

Be interesting to hear what the dealers comments are when you threaten to cancel, maybe yell them your going to buy a Discovery instead

Hey Guys,
The bloke from Ken Mills, where I managed to get my rig, mentioned mine was one of two they had just sold. They're next orders wouldn't be delivered till mid March at the earliest. These orders were place in October, I was extremely lucky to sneak in and get the one I did. It was a stock order for the showroom, in the spec I wanted! Some may be sad to hear I initially wanted white!
