My 2009 150 LC4 (VX) has the lock/unlock buttons on the rear door ...... the spare wheel is underslung however (door hung spare wheels are not an option in the EU - well - the UK for certain). Makes closing the door a lot quieter.....
) - but I can understand its shortcomings if you go seriously off road perhaps?

We should be picking up our 2011 update (that's that the insurance companies are now calling it when you select make and model) so we will scope out the rear and get back to you all with what we find. I have only seen the inverter in the rear of the demos so time will tell.
Oh that's if my date does not slip the day we walk up to the dealer and ask for the keys!

Yes but he did quote from his manual as well....? Maybe this is a standard part now?Originally posted by tempestv8 View PostThat 12 volt power plug is most definitely NOT Toyota. It looks very much like a Baintech 12 volt flush mount socket. You can find these halfway down this website:

Yes the discount if for factory employees only, which are the only real Toyota employees at the end of the day since dealerships are agents for Toyota as opposed to actual employees.

My December 2009 pick-up has lock/unlock buttons on the door (150 GXL - second boat to Oz). Sorry thrasherdave but I think you may have over looked them...

My Jan 11 150 Series had the lock/unlock buttons on the rear door. No longer my bus thoughOriginally posted by thrasherdave View PostYes. I wonder if the dealer prepped the car for someone else and the deal fell through?
I see Steve's 2010 had the buttons on the rear door. Mine didn't. Well, at least I cannot imagine that neither my wife nor I didn't notice. On this car, she noticed them before I did. Now I'll have to prowl the shopping centre car park to look at other 150s

:O Mr Yotota, I would love a job please! lolOriginally posted by tempestv8 View PostIf you work for Toyota, you can get into a new Prado every year, sell it after 12 months and never have to dip into your pockets due to the Toyota employee discount being greater than depreciation on typical drive away pricing.

Mine is a Feb 2010 build date and has the lock & unlock buttons on the rear door too. I thought they were standard, at least on GXL and above?Originally posted by REV View PostMine is Sep 2010 & it has the lock & unlock buttons.

I had a brief gander at mine new arrival at the dealer last night and not knowing much of previous 150s I did note it had privacy glass and also the mud flaps did look a bit longer. Wouldn't know about the rest.
I was a bit fixed at how light in colour the headliner was. What knob chose they should be built in such a light grey colour for a 4x4? I'll have to look at putting sealer on that for certain! One swipe of a dusty hand would create a mess.

So the 2011 had the Lock & Unlock buttons on the rear door? The 2010 didn't, and that was most annoying.
Mine is Sep 2010 & it has the lock & unlock buttons.
