  • Best choice of Mirror for Towing Caravang on the 150 series is........

    Hello all
Searched this great site but can't see a Mirror topic.
As per the heading, can anyone recomend a brand that ..

-Does not scratch the door panels/glass.
    -Does not move (much).
-Acutally does fit the 150 quite well.

    ps I meant Caravan without a 'G'

    Thanks Kindly,Mobec

I find the truck mirors to be the best. Steady and very clear. Easy to get on and off. I have used them for nearly two ears ans no scrathes

I hear lots of good reports about the clearview mirrors, these are a replacement for the original mirrors, great if you tow the van a lot.

I've seen a few of the clearview mirrors getting around on Prados. They are very very ugly. You'd only fit them if you were on the road full time.

I wouldn't go that far, they do look a bit on the large side on Prado, all depends on personal taste. They look right at home on the 100 series though.

              Any particular brand or style?

Have used the ORA brand, has a magnetic patch on an arm that sticks on the door, and the mirror is attached to the vehicle mirror by a strap. The bloody things have a broken plastic piece each side and have only used them since April.

Prado08GXL won the Clearview mirrors at the 2011GTG and has them on his Prado, also I think Teamdevo has them on his as well, I thought they were a great idea and being permanant wouldn't be a hassle.

You would need to contact them as I don't think they had 150 ones at the time.

See ya on the tracks,(pun intended) Richo.
