Trip Computer in 150 GX ?

I know the 150 GXL has a trip computer that displays fuel & distance data on a colour central screen & also to another small LCD screen in the instrument cluster directly in front of the driver.

My question is:
Does the 150 GX model have a trip computer the same as the GXL ?
If it does have a trip computer, does it ouput its information to the small LCD screen in the instrument cluster directly in front of the driver ?

The Toyota spec sheet is not clear on this point & cannot find a 150 GX model to confirm it.

Any GX owners out that know the answer?

According to Toyotas website under the GX model under Instruments & Controls, trip computer is listed as Standard.

Yep, the GX gas a more basic version in the same screen as the odometer. You can scroll through the different features from a button in the dash near the dash light dimmer control.

Thank you "Pradopointers", that was exactly the info i was after.
Trying to decide between a GX & GXL, leaning towards GX, as I do not need 7 seats, twin A/C's & all would prefer flat cargo floor.
However I do like GXL wheels, reverse camera & leather steering wheel. Decisions, decisions.

Seems like you are in the same headspace I was when looking to buy. I didn't need the 3rd row seats and the 3rd row aircon/cupholders take up a massive amount of space in the rear. The wife liked the reverse camera (so did I but thought the screen was too small) and I wanted wider wheels. I ended up buying the GX and with the $5k I saved spent $1k on an in-dash stereo/GPS/reverse camera and $1k on new alloy wheels ending up with a vehicle that has the same safety and technology as the GXL, more practical for my needs for a few less $.

If I take out the centre trip computer and replace it witha GPS on my 2012 GXL, will I still get trip info like distance to empty, average fuel etc on the little screen between the dials?

Yep, Water Temp, Transmission Temp, and an accurate Speed indication. I suspect it gets its speed information from the GPS for the Toyota Satnav rather than where the Dash speedo gets its info. It agrees with 2 other GPS units I sometimes use.

And it also reads ATF temp, volts etc . You can clear codes as well with it.
