  • Altitude Tool Kit

    Hi All,

After picking up the Altitude on Wednesday this week and finally wrestling off the wife today i noticed that there may appear to be some tools missing from the tool kit contained in the rear door. It would appear a few gaps where tools would be at the top of my Altitude Tool kit, before I talk with dealer I was wondering if other Altitude owners might be able to tell me if there is similar or if the tool kit they have is like my mates 120 Prado in the second link.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

    Hi jinandrew

At a guess I would say that you have a diesel and you mates is a petrol.

The diesel doesn't have the spark plug tool or a few others that are not required.

Not sure why the 8/10mm spanner is not required by diesel owners but I dont have it either.

    Cheers

      Cheers,

I would expect that the Altitude tool kit would be the same as the GXL and it is the same as mine. The missing tools are for the european which needs tools for lowing the spare wheel which is under the car and not on the back.

I queried the empty spaces when taking delivery and was told they are for extra tools that come with the kakadu. not sure what though.

Dude, you have a diesel, it doesn't have the full kit. My Grande diesel doesn't, your diesel wont, just as all diesels don't. You are not missing anything except a silly salesman that misinforms you.
