I only ask because I've noticed a couple of scratches on the plastic case of the fob I use every day. Would be nice to have a polished stainless or monel fob.

I was concerned about the key fob getting scratched or damaged. Especially when the wife drops it into her handbag. Who knows what's in there!!! I have ordered a silicone case off of Ebay. Here is the link http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/280438894...84.m1497.l2649 I will let you know how it fits when it arrives.

I thought you would still need the electronics contained in the fob for everything to work. Does the keyless entry still work and the remote door lock? or is it all now operated by the key (including the door lock/unlock)

Better than Toyota telling me I needed a new ecu, barrel, locks, reciever, immobilized. At a $2500 saving I'm happy.

Not so easy in a 150?
