    Hi All
I've tried but can't seem to tune in two different phones into the handsfree system at the same time ie my wife's and mine. I've looked at the manual but can't seem to find anything to help me. Either I can't or I need some help. Help!
    Regards

You can pair two phones, but they will not operate simultaneously. ie you can select hers or yours.
    Hope this helps!

The setup in the VX requires that you select phones while stationary, so whichever phone you have picked is it for the journey. You have to select the phone once and that phone (assuming it is compatible, many aren't) will default each time thereafter until you go into the menu and select a different phone.

Same stuff cbm880 is saying and that frustrated me when we got ours. Sales staff were, very confident that it could receive calls on either phone, but many hours of trying later and a support call to Toyota tech confirmed that once selected, the Phone is the only phone that can use the Bluetooth until the vehicle is stationary and another selected.

Ended up putting a windscreen mount gps with hands free to cater for the second phone.

That's not my understanding (WRT the VX). You can pair up to 4 phones. When u start the vehicle & there is only 1 of the phones in range, it will pair to that phone. If there is more than one phone in the car, it will pair to the one that was last paired ( in the case of two phones, not sure about more phones where the last phone paired is not in the car). While driving, you can hit the info/phone button & then 'connect phone' to change which phone is connected... It will prompt you to disconnect the currently connected one.

I'm *pretty sure* the above is accurate.

Nadsy the same applies in my Altitude. Pair up to four phones and via info with all phones in car can select.....
