  • Optimising dead space

Wazza has raised what I often think about and created a solution for some dead space with his compressor install. http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?24508-Air-compressor-in-GXL-behind-LH-cargo-bay-panel-%28the-space-hogging-cup-holder!%29

What about other cavities? Could we maybe consolidate all of the dead spaces used so we could have a reference of how best to utilise?

We all know when it comes to that epic trip space is a real premium so you want to place really useful bits in out of the way locations......stuff that can be mounted and does not need to be moved.

Things such as water tanks, air tanks, compressors, spare parts etc etc.

Has anyone removed the rear light assembly and stuffed an extra belt, hose etc in there?

There is big dead space under the front guards, ideal for water tank but weight may be an issue.

I am thinking of putting the shower pump and heat exchanger in the bull bar space.
