So we have a 3 week old altitude and the air-con has packed it in already. Not bad for 75 grand. Ever since we got it when you set the rear air to about 24 degrees it would stay there for a while then automatically revert to minimum temp by its self. Now the front is doing the same and is just pumping out air not cold. Any one else had similar experience yet? It's booked in for Monday so we shall see what caused it hopefully.

No what you mean pussbus, not so much complaining but probably thinking along the lines of ""have I got a lemon" and you dont expect issues when spending big $$ and only having it for 3 weeks, same as when I bought one of my vehicles new, sunroof leaked first night in driveway and I noticed it when I put my fat arse on the seat. needless to say i wasnt happy and thought here we go got a shitbox, but was fixed and no further issues but just takes that new feeling away a bit. As wooley said give them a chance to fix it and hopefully everything will be sweet, might be some thing as simple as a faulty controller or sensor........keep us informed either way of the outcome.......Cheers SteveFace lift 150 Prado V6 auto. Righto, time for an update. The problem was that the bullbar has rubbed through an aircon pipe down the front somewhere and let all the gas out. So might be wise to double check any bullbar installs have been fitted properly and not rubbing on any aircon pipes. So I dare say that TJM might be up for a bill shortly from Toyota. The other part of the problem of aircon reverting to different temperatures is an operator error problem more than anything. Pays to read the destructions occasionlly.

Good news there pussbus, at least it was an easy find and fixwd plus reading the manual solved the other issue. All up good outcome, cost you nothing and all is sweet..............Out of curiosity how did they fix the hole where it had rubbed through ??? I hope they replaced the pipe for you with a new genuine one ?? Cheers SteveFace lift 150 Prado V6 auto. No mods yet
