    Silver colour code

    Just a quick one, I just brought a new 09 120 prado today, which I will be picking up next week. I want to order a arb bull bar tommrow painted the same colour, but for some reason I can't find the colour code. Can someone tell me the code. Arr yar it's silver... I forgot about that...

      Pewter, noooo, it's silver.. Lol. I don't actual have the car yet, but I was going to arb to order the bar tommrow. that's why I was after it.

        I have a 2009 'Silver' 120. Colour code is 1D4.

          Silver may not be too difficult to match but I'm also looking at a bar that I may or may not colour code....The suggestion was to get a paint shop to colour match rather than using the code.....to get a closer match......something to think about. Its odd but apparently the code using the code is not as close as one would think to the colour of the car & it could be to do with the finishing of the car or the finishing of the bar, I don't know.

            If the car is brand new, you can use the code. But typically due to wear/fading of the paint, it is safer to get the painter to use the code as a guide, but then match the colour to the car by sight.
