      What happens if you have rain sensors and a heated screen - does this need a genuine Toyota screen or can someone like 'autoglass' here in the UK come along and replace with an equivalent screen?

        The rain sensor should be a sensor which sits on/behind the glass so that can be used on new windscreen.

        Can you get a heated windscreen?

          My UK 150 Lc4 (VX) has a heated front windscreen and there is a 'shaded' area for where rain sensor sits.....

            Yeah but that heating is just hot air out the vents isn't it? I'd assume any replacement windscreen would be identical to the Toyota one.

              No it isn't - there is an electrical element built into the lower part of the screen - which is clearly visible and a button in the cabin to activate it.... :-}
