Now that you bring it to my attention, It appears that mine is doing the same, unfortunately it's out warranty. Mine has spent it's first nearly 3 years in the mallee, so only been near the coast for the past 6 months, even then it's at least 10 km away from the bay.150 with stuff bolted on!

I had a 80 series 160k on the clock and out of warranty and the muffler gave way internally I went to Toyota they looked through their Big black book and replaced it no charge. There are a lot of things that are not safety callbacks but are in this Secret Black Book.Worth a visit to Toyota.2016 ISUZU DMAX TWIN CAB.

There are 2 types of warranty......I'm not sure of the exact names , but I think its the statutary warranty...and the implied warranty .
Even though your statutary warranty has elapsed you may still be covered by the implied warranty . eg The motor blows up at 100k and the car's 3yrs old .. say . The implied warranty would come in here as the motor's expected to last for more than 100k .
