I've seen the pics, and yes the 120 may look more old and serious - even then, I still didn't think it was possible, but they've done it, they've made the 150 even uglier !!
Sorry to all the 150 lovers, but it's been out 4 years now, and the first time I thought it looked 'ok' was when I compared the pic's of the current 150 to the pics of the facelift job. Too much Botox and the rear end looks very Kluger-ish :-/
Just my 120 owning 2c's worth :-)

Ok so for the people in the market forOriginally posted by D4D View PostWhere do I start?
- less rear storage space
- 3rd row seats that are a PITA to remove
- 2nd row seats don't fold & tumble
- non functional centre console that looks like it was designed in Korea
- rear quarter windows don't open
- less fuel capacity
- no major increase in engine performance
About the only positive I can see is the new bonnet/grille design that allows the ARB bar to have antenna mounts on the top hoop.
an 8 seater that they want to remove the extra seats for anyway
A bit of extra floor storage space
Rear opening windows for the dog to slobber out of.
And do marathon trips that requires 180ltrs not 150ltrs
Then sure the new 150 may not be ideal.

Seems to be more about the 120 than about a new 150. Lets get this one back on topic.

When it comes to new models you have to push the envelope a bit otherwise they would rarely change their style. Great for people who already own but not good for new sales or upgrades. The initial sting of change passes and then become accepted. The 150 still has its critics but parked next to a 120 now a few years after release and you can see how dated a 120 really is.
Cheers

Seriously are you saying you love those new lights and grill Rob on the new revision????Originally posted by Hutch View PostYou r dreaming, 120 old news mate...
The 120 craps all over it for clean lines, but Toyota have gone to the decade of angular lines now.
Alas some will love them, some will hate them.

I drive both the 120 and 150 at the moment and I must say that the 150 is my pick.

I agree. It's funny, in my youth when I owned half a dozen TC & TD Cortinas, I saw the TE model and thought "what an ugly square box". But eventually I bought one and shoe-horned a 289 Windsor into it and ended up loving it to death. When I had my 98 Prado and saw the 120 I thought "what an ugly square box". But eventually I bought one. And now I look at the 150 and think.............Originally posted by gumboot View PostI love Toyota.
They care for me, by increasing my resale value of the 120 as they make the150 more ugly.... Bwaaaaahhhh ;-)

Wait... we're supposed to notice? bugger.Originally posted by Jasenwhen SWMBO comes home with a new haircut. Even if you think you don't like it as much as the old one, you know it will grow on you so it's best to say you love it strait away.
Personally, not a fan of it. But then again, not a fan of the 120 or 150 either.... guess I'm just a hater and you know what they say?
Haters gonna hate.
