I drive both the 120 and 150 at the moment and I must say that the 150 is my pick.

The 120 craps all over it for clean lines, but Toyota have gone to the decade of angular lines now.
Alas some will love them, some will hate them.[B]Robert

When it comes to new models you have to push the envelope a bit otherwise they would rarely change their style. Great for people who already own but not good for new sales or upgrades. The initial sting of change passes and then become accepted. The 150 still has its critics but parked next to a 120 now a few years after release and you can see how dated a 120 really is.
Cheers

- less rear storage space
- 3rd row seats that are a PITA to remove
- 2nd row seats don't fold & tumble
- non functional centre console that looks like it was designed in Korea
- rear quarter windows don't open
- less fuel capacity
- no major increase in engine performance
About the only positive I can see is the new bonnet/grille design that allows the ARB bar to have antenna mounts on the top hoop.My Prado

an 8 seater that they want to remove the extra seats for anyway
A bit of extra floor storage space
Rear opening windows for the dog to slobber out of.
And do marathon trips that requires 180ltrs not 150ltrs
Then sure the new 150 may not be ideal.

I've seen the pics, and yes the 120 may look more old and serious - even then, I still didn't think it was possible, but they've done it, they've made the 150 even uglier !!
Sorry to all the 150 lovers, but it's been out 4 years now, and the first time I thought it looked 'ok' was when I compared the pic's of the current 150 to the pics of the facelift job. Too much Botox and the rear end looks very Kluger-ish :-/
Just my 120 owning 2c's worth :-)Last edited by GTX; 01-09-2013, 08:15 AM.2005 Diesel Funbus Driver

Yeah I agree, now the three door is gone, hopefully the towing capacity of the 5 door increases to 3000kgs
Bit of a trade off???

They certainly haven't followed Apple's design elements, that's for sure. They are not sleek designs, is what I am trying to say here.
Having said that, the BT50s are as ugly as my backside. That's not a good design either.
