I doubt that, as Euro 5 requirements came into effect this year, which I think means that any new vehicle coming to market must meet that standard. That's supposedly why the new Patrol has no Diesel option, as the current big Nissan diesel is a Cummins engine that is only Euro 2 (US Market)Originally posted by Peterpilot View PostI suspect that a lot of the info out now bears little relevance to the AU spec Prado, I also read that the D4D engine will have the same old 127kW power output we have now and have had since the introduction of the D4D in 2006! That is just sad, get your act together Toyota!

It looks like such a Gin Palace that maybe it will come with a space saver spare.

Who is to say the AU model won't have the spare tyre on the back? Everything I have seen so far is from overseas sites. Just as NZ gets the spare tyre underneath now and we get it on the back there will surely be variations for different markets.Originally posted by winniliss View PostNo spare tyre on the back. I wonder what the fuel capacity will be?

Roof Rails
yeah I noticed all photos are missing the roof rails. Asked an insider at Toyota and he said they "will" have roof rails.......I dunno.
I was reading one of the spec sheets (wasn't from Aus) earlier in this thread and it said that the new facelift was 40mm lower.
That 40mm could be the deletion of the roof rails??

In one shot you can see the segments in the rubber cover over the roof troughs. I guess it would be like a Commy wagon or similar where you remove the segment to expose the mounting points for roof rails/bars. This way Toyota gets to slug you for the whole setup and not just the cross bars. The rails are pretty useless by themselves.

Woodgrain. Wow. Crappy push buttons for transfer selection. Going to take a decent bar to fix that front end.

What do we think of the 2014 150 ?
http://www.expeditionportal.com/vehi...-pictures.html
The new grill & lights make it look quite narrow in the front
Not sure i like the bulged out front guards ?
Love the interior
Hate the vents above the stereo. That bar on the stereo looks like a slide bar of some sort ( i know its not ) just looks that way. yuk!!
The screen could of been so much bigger.
But overall looks good
