Edit: Don't worry I found some good Youtube videos of what I wanted. This camera is better than the GoPro overall.

Has any one confirmed that 319 is actually a good price for that blackvue?

Im just going with the flow here, so i dont really have an idea on a RRP.

I've been searching around. I reckon a group buy should be cheaper myself, nearer $299. But they're still negotiating.

I'll certainly sing out if I see cheaper. They're about $280USD online.

Hi there winniliss, here is a pic of mine (sorry just a quick pic from iphone still parked in garage) you can just see the glasses holder in top part of pic (bit dark) and the only thing you can see different is the wire running down from the hood lining, this is one of the main reasons I got the blackvue so it doesn't stand out and especially if parked some where you don't want some low life scum breaking in just to get a camera off your dashboard/windscreen and you also don't want to keep having to put it up and down from the windscreen or you will get sick of it. You want to have it so you flick the key and forget its even there and not in your view also......Cheers Steve [IMG][/IMG]

steve, i asked a mate in the "drift scene" and to add another supplier into the mix, this place was recommended. australian distributor as well.

I know I'm jumping onto this topic a bit late (I'm only on Pradopoint once in a blue moon), but we have 2 Blackvue DR400 V2 in two of our 3 cars. The one in the Prado has been in there for about 8 months now and hasn't had any heat issues. The one in the 86 has been in for about a month.

I bought both of them from "Street FX Motorsports and Graphics". If you all haven't paid for them yet, I'm sure Mark would be willing to give you all a group buy discount.

Like Steve, I have caught my (now former) Toyota dealer who were talking shit about me at a service. Just on that though, it is illegal (in QLD anyways) to post recordings of people's conversations if you don't have permission to be recording the conversation so I won't (as much as I'd like to) be posting the video.

Yes Dennis it's illegal here to in (NSW) to do the same thing, hence why I didn't put the video up of the owner telling the young guy that was driving my car to stop flogging the cars. And also showed his face of the manager but didn't think appropriate to put his face on line with the coversation as well....you do have to be careful with what you put for all to see.... Their retail price isnt far off your group buy price Steve. I hazard a guess with the numbers you are talking about, Streetfx would have to be cheaper. Cheers Robert
