From what I've seen it probably would - might have to try leaving the light on in the garage tonight to test the theory.

Anyone taken the sunglass / light panel out on the 150. I took the lamp covers, black trim with the microphone, grey trim but there are no screws holding it to the roof and you can't get to any wiring so it needs to be completely removed. Any tips from those that have done this? Its in there solidly and prizing it off from the wrong end might break some clips orsomething. Appreciate any tips!

          • OK, so I did the overnight trial leaving the light on in the garage and whilst the Blackvue didn't stay on all night it didn't fully go to sleep either. The memory card contains the record from 7:39AM on 14th August to 6:28AM on 15th August (using 26GB of the card). There are gaps of non-recording from 12:45AM to 2:50AM, 2:50AM to 3:11AM and 3:47AM to 5:10AM. This seems to imply that if you leave a light on it has a broken nights sleep as opposed to when the lights are off and it sleeps peacefully through the night

If you use it to record your fun day out and don't download it that night (or manually turn it off) by the time you look at it next day it will probably be overwritten. My 32GB card lasts about nine hours.

Thanks for the heads up. Cards are pretty cheap - I might just get a second one for recording play days, and another for 'security'.

                • Let me guess - from reading everyone else's posts, mine is probably the only one that arrived with an Asian manual (no English) and without the extra power connector?

The English manual is on the memory card. Don't know about an extra power connector - mine only had one but how many do you need?

English manual was on my Card. I didn't an extra power adaptor, but did get an extra 3 socket cigarette lighter thingy with USB port. Is that we were supposed to get? Not fussed though about extra power lead

With mine the English manual and software is on the micro SD Card. Plus, when I put a new card in and formatted it I found the manual and software had been installed on the new card.

I did only get one power lead though - could have been useful to have two as I wanted to wire it in and didn't want to take the one I had apart.

                            • Yeah, apparently there was supposed to be a note in the package advising the English manual is on the microSD card - my package obviously missed the note too!

The charger/adapter will be on its way tomorrow.
