Hi all,
Just fitted the ARB UVP on the prado and noticed that the instructions are incorrect. It tells you to install bolts on the outer slots for the transmission cover and the middle slots are for the 120 prado. if i fit it as instructed id does not join up with the second panel so I need to use the 120 slots, not the outer as suggested. It all works out but I'm a bit concerned about the exhaust clearance, approx 5mm. Has anyone had the same problem. I have used the correct hold on the brace, the lowest it goes.
Also, i just fitted a sahara bar and found that the centre tube hardware was incorrect. M12 bolt 1.5 pitch supplied. Should be 1.75 pitch. like the captive nut in the tube. ARB head office could not help me with this, then i was told that i could run a tap through the nut ? . I purchased 2 new bolts 50 mm long M12 1.75 pitch, all good now. Thought id share this for anyone fitting a sahara bar. Beware of the bolts for tube.
