Fixed my slippery seats

The leather seats on my VX were pretty slippery,especially in the rear where the seat is flatter. I put lambs wool covers in the frontd from new but they tended to slide on the leather as well.
Fixed it today by getting some soft rubber matting from Clark Rubber and putting a piece on each seat under the covers. $15 for the rubber and the Minister for everything is happy so money well spent. Just gonna keep an eye on the rubber to make sure it doesnt turn to goo after some time in the heat

Thats a great idea.

Do you know if the wetsuit style ones have any impact on the leather ie; rubbing? does anyone have these on their leather seats.?

Dont know mate. Only time will tell. I am not overly worried at this stage as when i eventually sell it i will leave seat covers on if the leather is marked. Leather is nice but gets dam warm in the sun
