fitted the fire extinguisher.

Took a while to think of where to put it.
ended up cutting the bottom out of one of the rear cup holders.
fits in an looks neat.

No I don't work for a 4x4 shop. I didn't put it under or behind the grill because I wanted my young kids to be able to easily access the outlets when camping.

Don't mind me mate, I'm just anal about that sort of thing. I would have mounted it behind the grill and then when camped just run a short USB extension lead out through the grill so the grommets can access it. But that's just me.

New Awning ....... finally! "Rapid Wing" made in Aus by Supapeg. Haven't used it yet but it seems pretty good quality so far.






Obviously very similar to the Foxwing, however it is definitely a more heavy duty canvas and I like the fact that each pole is double pegged down at the bottom and has a bent spigot at the top eliminating the need for ropes. Also the wing support arms all swing out from the main pivot point all on the same horizontal line, whereas the Foxwing arms are stacked vertically at the pivot point - meaning that when packed up the Rapid Wing is not as high as the Foxwing so I can still get into the carport. The Rapid wing is only as high as the mounting brackets and is a maximum of 80mm above the top of the roofracks. The Foxwing was almost 200mm.
