5.5 tonne, the 4 cyl is working! Definitely keep a close eye in your Injectors & do something about the egr problem.
    Close to full fuel.
Yeah the engine does work hard but with good gear selection handles it well. Dont think i would like to be pulling a 3 ton van though, a 3t tow limit might just break it
I figured the work would mean more wear so planning to keep a close eye on it.

    • At some point in the not too distant future I really need to get back on to my build thread.... Anyway, bought some goodies at the 4wd show on the weekend. So, fitted a pair of Lightforce 215 gen2s, fitted secondary fuel filter with water trap, and fitted the mount for a sand flag I bought through a group buy.

                  • Not today as such but over the weekend.... Plumbed in the primary fuel filter/water separator & tidied up (as best I could), the wiring for the spotties. They came with a pre-made wiring harness and the cabling lengths aren't quite right. Some are too long, others too small. Did the best I could with it and it's better than it was (more or less chucked it in just to get it working), but still not happy. Going to make my own from scratch and position the fuse & relay somewhere a little better.

Gday Dennis, I got the outback drawers, theres a few picks on my rig build up thread. I have kept the seats and wrapped them in plastic with some moisture absorbers. I'll hold onto them until i sell the car in the years to come and either keep the drawers if the can be transfered and put the seats back in or they go with the car.

                            • Filled the right hand front guard full of Dynamat to try and get rid of the 1500rpm vibration/rattle. Will take it out tomorrow and see if its made a difference!

                              • Found that the Prado wouldn't fit in the garage since the lift was fitted. Reversed the awning brackets to lower the awning to below the level of the Rhino rack. Now if I leave the fridge in and have at least half a tank of fuel it just fits.
