Fun day today. Fitted TowPro, ran 6mm cable to rear for 12V sockets along with brake controller cable. Ran all my cabling for switches out to engine bay ready for relays, etc. now just to fit off switches, connect dash illumination and then power up.
Fitted scangauge and configured up for correct ATF.
quite productive if I don't say so myself.

Started pulling everything out of the rear draws to re organise it, then found out the missus car need new front brake pads urgently- when she pulled into the driveway squealing I asked, how longs that noise been happening? About 2-3 weeks. GRRRR
Quick trip to autobahn for new pads, I also scored a set of Rhino universal holders for the platform for $40.
Then remembered I have the front and side bars I bought last year to fit to the platform, so got that sorted, damn if that's not an annoying install!
So in the end I didn't finish sorting the draws, will have to do during the week.
Running out of time before the holidaysGeoff
Im not Bogged - I've just lost traction. . . . . and now I'm showing the wife why I bought those Maxtrax, and the tyre deflator, and the compressor, and the bullbar, and the winch, and a lot of other goodies I've hidden in the Prado

Finally wired up the spotlights. I fitted them about 6 weeks ago (along with the relay and wiring except the trigger wires). Used a hb3 adapter from ebay.
Also disabled the seatbelt alarm and enabled windows up/down with the remote last weeke. Finally getting some jobs crossed off the list.
Cheers, Nova

Finally got around to fitting the eBay clone tail light I bought months ago to replace my cracked one, worth a bit of mucking around for the $610 saving over Toyota's asking price ($130 vs $750).
The new light is on the left, old one on the right is covered in sticky tape that was holding the lens together.

Had front springs replaced. ARB installed the petrol ones by accident and so weren't strong enough for the diesel.
So now I have 60mm lift front, 75mm lift at back.

ARB told me they are all fine. It'll drop a bit tomorrow with dual battery going in, and then winch in few weeks.

Just looked under. CV joints angle is about 5mm higher at present. Once winch and battery go in, should be perfect.
