Got my EGR plate fitted today, took a while, although I probably spent a hour of that hunting around for spanners and sockets that fit properly. Ratchet spanners are a godsend, as are socket extension bars that allow some angle of the socket. I even had time to pressure wash the car before it got dark.
I managed to drop the very last bolt when doing everything back up and lost it somewhere in/under the car. Was the small bolt in the inlet pipe that holds the vaccuum hose by the battery. Lucky it is M6 and I had a spare.
I was surprised by the amount of crud in the inlet with only 26000km on the clock.
