Well in the few months I have had me 150 I'm very pleased with it, so far I have fitted toyo at2 all terrians, a good service (all filters and oil), fitted recovery points at front (when I purchased them didn't realise that arb bar needs to come off for fitment, but I managed), half way through dual battery fitting, so far battery and vsr all fitted just need to get cable and wire up with circuit breakers. Got more planned but all in time. 😉 Can anyone recommend a good bash plate for under front of bullbar, the standard arb one got a good bend in it today looks like it's only about 1.5mm thick

Realising how many hours I've spent adding extras to the car, as I start removing all that I can, to move to the new car.Geoff
Im not Bogged - I've just lost traction. . . . . and now I'm showing the wife why I bought those Maxtrax, and the tyre deflator, and the compressor, and the bullbar, and the winch, and a lot of other goodies I've hidden in the Prado

I have had the parts for about a year... Now I don't have to jackknife the camper both ways to pump up the tyres. Switch was relocated to inside in preparation for the Prolocker later this year.
I also finished off the bike rack for the front box of the Tvan not that this is specifically 150 related. My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

No Balloon, I would never do one.
same 5 year loan, monthly repayments.
just the way it works out.
Good deal on the new car, finance required after trade in is less than borrowed last time.
Love the Prado and didn't want to swap.
In the end, it is a 4 yr old car, trade in will be less every year,
Getting a caravan next year, so the V8 will make towing easier, and cheaper than the V6 now.
smaller repayments, means more money in the bank.
just makes sense.
Kids will be sad to loose the Prado though.Geoff

Got some cheap reversing light bars
Ran the wire from the aux battery to the behind the brake light then up the back of the car to the Rhino Rack.
Connected a wire to the reverse light to power the relay then the switch is on.
also installed a hidden switch to override the lights on when setting up camp (drivers side out of the way to avoid accidentally turning it on)
this is wired back to the same relay, but i added some diodes to avoid power back feeding into the reverse lights.

Works a treat! probably a bit of overkill
