bought a set of bash plates from ARB Capalaba.
Got to start somewhere on the naked beast!
fitted the bashplates ,not too hard
although 1 set of holes were 5mm out on middle plate to the prado holes !!
spot of filing with decent round file.

Fitted up the water watch water trap which I removed from the Patrol. Simply bought the bracket and a bit of hose and it all went straight in. I'm heading west in a few weeks and this will provide a little extra comfort when refuelling. For those not familiar with the water watch, here is their website. http://www.waterindiesel.com.au/6308/
I have no affiliation with them, I'm just a happy customer.

Hey Spike, Just wondering how long they took you to fit?? and whether you needed to put it up on ramps to get enough clearance underneath?

I have a trolley jack and two axle stands so probs 400mm extra height.
I wasn't in a rush and the centre piece had wrong hole centres by 5 mm
I hadn't been under the truck before so I had a good look whilst under
21/2 hours from opening the box and washing up.
Certainly look strong.

Give underneath a wash before you start and let it dry off, nothing worse than mud and dirt falling on you and into your eyes while you are under the car. I fitted the TJM plates to mine (Christmas present from #1) and they took several days! Actually one plate was bent incorrectly so it went on then off then back to TJM but the job itself takes a couple of hours and I didn't need to jack up the Prado. Had an extra set of hands once or twice.

Just bought some cheap Ebay ones to see how they would go. They cost me less than $60 posted for both pairs of Hi and low. Almost less than a set of halogen bulbs! I got 55w 5000k bulbs.
Ballasts were quite compact and I checked them on the bench before install. All seemed OK. I installed and checked them prior to tiding up the wiring. All good with no errors or warning lights. Fingers crossed that they work for at least a few months. Having said that I have a $50 set of HID lamps in the work ute that have been flawless for over 4 years now.
Still waiting for some LED park lights to arrive. You can definitely tell the color difference.
Another run up to Bribie on Sunday, because we can! 24'C and not a cloud in the sky or any wind....gotta love a Queensland winter! And before anyone mentions the fact the awning is shading the car, we had been there for hours and I just couldn't be bothered moving the rig!!!
This was followed by a very long clean up today!
