Finally got off my backside and fitted provent catch can with the western filters fitting kit and racor R20T filter with AMTS bracket kit.
Both installs went easy as, probably 30mins for the catch can and 45mins for the racor filter. I might change the return line on the catch can to eliminate the steel pipe as others have done, just to make it that little bit neater.2012 Pearl Altitude-D4DWindcheetah platform, Foxwing, TJM T13 bar,TMax winch, TJM sidesteps and bars, Outback drawers, Optima Yellow top, HR towbar, TX3540 UHF, GME Aerial, Airtec Snorkel, Lukey stainless muffler, 2inch lift, DVSR dual battery, MSA dropslide, HD ERPS, Cooper S/T maxx, Sandgrabbas, 40L engel, Lightforce XGT's, ChipIT, Provent 200, Racor R20T, Auto Cooler, Wetseat Covers, Roadsafe recovery points.

What's the quality of the Western Filters bracket for the Provent like? Is it relatively rigid?Prado 150 D4D AUTO GXL with ARB Deluxe Winchbar, Brains' TG150 Transfer Case Actuator Guard, Bilstein/Ridepro 50mm Lift, Safari Snorkel, D697 265/65/17 LTs, Dual Battery Setup with REDARC Controller, REDARC Tow Pro, Toyota Tow Bar, Maxtrax - towing a Camprite TL8s fitted with GXL wheels and D697s.

Fitted my Provent over the weekend too. Same setup as above. Easy 30 min job.
Got Western Filters to send me an oil safe hose for the drain hose, instead of the clear one they normally supply with the kit. That way don't have to worry about it breaking down and cracking.
The bracket is nice and solid, I did give it a quick coat of black spray paint to help it blend in more with the surroundings. also put some insertion rubber underneath it and in between the bracket and the air box so no rattling. washers and nyloc nuts and the thing is solid as a rock.

Finally fitted permanent wiring for BlackVue camera. Was going to just stuff it down RHS trim but thought I would take a bit of pride and remove trim (by removing grab handle). Lucky I did as it would have interfered with curtain air bag operation. Ran cable down with other cables within space and made gooder job of it.

Been a bit busy the last few weeks, getting ready for a big trip in July.
- Fitted new Icom 450 UHF and Antenna (replaced a Icom 440).
- Extended rear mud flaps
- Fitted reverse camera
- Fitted new seat covers, got over the fluff and dust the sheepskins generated.
- Fitted HID conversion to High Beam, stoked with the kit and almost makes the HID spotties redundant. Seems the Prado has a great reflector for HID's and remains quite focused and doesn't scatter the light like some others I have seen.
And decided not to go to Toyota for servicing. Changed all oils and fluids at 30 000 except Auto. I have no faith that the Dealer here does the job correctly and just can't bring myself to pay $1200 odd dollars for $200 bucks worth of oil. I will book it in with them though just to get the injector values checked at 40 000. and last but not least bought a new swag.
