Should have no impact on power or consumption. Check the usual culprits like low tyre pressures. My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

Marginal increase in power and torque. http://www.lcool.org/technical/120_s...rformance.html. Marginal increase in drag due to affected aerodynamics = Overall effect should be minimal

I have noticed nearly 1L/100klm extra fuel usage with a steel bar, winch, Slightly larger tyres, fridge and drawers.

Hey brad is that taking into account the extra 4-5% distance you are covering with bigger rubber? Or just calculated on odometer?Originally posted by ttmx83 View PostI have noticed nearly 1L/100klm extra fuel usage with a steel bar, winch, Slightly larger tyres, fridge and drawers.

Car is defiantly working harder at 100km than it was before mods. Difference was under 3% from the old tyres. Doing about 600klm per week, I have a good idea when I have had a furious week or when I have been conscious of the right foot. I see what you're saying though ;-)
