  • draw securing ideas

    Hi all

I am in the process of building rear draws for the rear of my 150 GXL I have removed the rear 3rd row seats to save weight and keep the draws lower. I now have the issue of mounting them to the floor pan, at this stage i'm wanting to use the m10 securing holes used for the 3rd row seats but I'm unsure what to and how to secure the draws at the rear end closest to the middle row seats.

Any ideas or pictures would be great

    Cheers Adam

Adam when I fitted my false floor I was going to make up some 45 degree angle pieces so I could use the existing holes that the seats were bolted to but it got a bit fiddly. So I fitted 4 M6 rivnuts in the tophat section at the front. I think I made some comments in my build. I will have a look through the photos I took and see whether I took any of that specifically. I had the rivnut tool and rivnuts so that was easy but if you want to go that way and don't have the tools you might be able to get another PPer to help you out. Could be worth asking #### if he can assist. Rivnuts definitely make it easy.

The screws are under the factory tie down points plus the single black dot is a cap head screw that sits under the fridge and two more M6 rivnuts are under the battery box.
