Rear wiper fail

Has anyone else got or heard of any problems with the rear windscreen wiper?

Pretty much since new, there must be something loose or missing in the mounts and the wiper will only wipe for half of its travel then seems to come away from the window for the rest of its journey across. I rarely use the thing but sometimes I just need to see out the back clearly. Like most wagons I've seen it is pretty hopeless even when it IS working properly but it beats not being able to see anything at all.

Take it back to Toyota and they'll fix it under warranty.

Yea going to get them to look at it... again. They "fixed" it last service but only half a dozen wipes later was doing the same thing. Just wanted to know if its a common problem.

2012 GXL 107,000km's... no issues with the rear wiper, it works very well and still on the original rubber blade!

Push Toyota hard at next service, or earlier.
I had to be very firm with them to install the rear seat strut, which stops the back seat really wobbling when on the road.
If it's under warranty THEY HAVE TO FIX THINGS
